Our Story: Building Faith & Community in Oshawa
Welcome to Trinity Presbyterian Church! We are a vibrant and unified community of faith in Oshawa, Ontario. Trinity was established through the amalgamation of three legacy congregations in early 2025, bringing together a rich history of Christian service, warm fellowship, and active outreach under one roof at our Rossland Road location.
As a registered Canadian charity (Charity # 119186096RR0001), Trinity is dedicated to knowing, loving, and serving God, rooted in the truth and inspiration of the Holy Scriptures. We are a down-to-earth community that extends a warm welcome to everyone—whether you are exploring faith for the first time or looking for a long-term church home.

From weekly Bible studies and youth ministry to community fellowship and support programs, we encourage growth in Christ across every generation.
Our Pastoral Leadership
Rev. Bill Grace
Co-Minister
Rev. Bill Grace serves as co-minister at Trinity, bringing a passion for thoughtful biblical teaching, community outreach, and helping people connect ancient faith to daily life. With a background in mathematics education before entering ordained ministry, Bill approaches ministry with a clear, engaging, and practical style. He is deeply committed to encouraging a welcoming fellowship where people of all generations can grow together in Christ.
When he isn’t at the church or preparing for Sunday worship, Bill enjoys staying active, spending quality time with his family, dabbling with a guitar, and following a good ball game.
Rev. Deon Slabbert
Co-Minister
Rev. Deon Slabbert serves alongside Bill as co-minister, sharing in pastoral care, preaching, and spiritual leadership at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Born and raised in South Africa, Deon studied theology and began his ministry within the rich legacy of the Dutch Reformed tradition. His pastoral journey eventually brought him to Canada, where he faithfully served congregations in Sault Ste. Marie before coming to Oshawa.
Deon brings a deep heart for pastoral care, a commitment to classic Reformed theology, and a dedication to supporting the congregation through every season of life. When he isn’t in the office or visiting members of the church family, you’ll likely find Deon out on the tennis court—where he still hits the court twice a week to keep his game sharp!
