Our Foundation

Trinity Presbyterian Church is a community of faith following Jesus Christ. While we are currently in a season of prayer and reflection as we craft a new mission statement for our newly amalgamated family, our theological roots are deep and firm.

Scripture & Standards

As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, we hold to the following standards of faith:

The Holy Scriptures: We believe that the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God and the only trustworthy and infallible rule of faith and life.
Subordinate Standards: We acknowledge the Westminster Confession of Faith and Living Faith (Foi Vivante) as our subordinate standards, which help us interpret the Bible’s teachings for our world today.

Because we have recently brought two historic congregations together at 333 Rossland Rd. W., we are actively listening to God’s spirit to define our specific mission for the Oshawa community. We invite you to be part of this journey as we build our future together.
