What We Believe

Our Foundation

Trinity Presbyterian Church is a community of faith following Jesus Christ. Rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ, we gather to worship, grow together in faith, and share God’s love by serving Oshawa and beyond.

Scripture & Standards

As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, we hold to the following standards of faith:

  • The Holy Scriptures: We believe that the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God and the only trustworthy and infallible rule of faith and life.
  • Subordinate Standards: We acknowledge the Westminster Confession of Faith and Living Faith (Foi Vivante) as our subordinate standards, which help us interpret the Bible’s teachings for our world today.

“Living Faith is a statement of Christian belief that speaks to our time with grace and clarity.”

A Community in Progress

Because we have recently brought three historic congregations together at 333 Rossland Rd. W., we continue to listen for God’s Spirit as we live out our mission in the Oshawa community. We invite you to be part of this journey as we build our future together.
