About Trinity Presbyterian Church
Welcome to Trinity Presbyterian Church in Oshawa! We are a vibrant and unified community of faith formed by the amalgamation of three long-standing Presbyterian congregations in Oshawa: Knox Presbyterian Church, St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, and St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church. As of January 1st, 2025, we began our shared journey together as Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Gathering at the location formerly known as St. Luke’s (333 Rossland Road West, Oshawa, ON L1J 3G6), Trinity Presbyterian Church builds upon a rich collective history and a shared commitment to faith, community, and service in the Presbyterian tradition.
We are a down-to-earth community that extends a warm welcome to visitors, newcomers, and long-time members alike. Whether you are exploring faith, looking for a church home, or seeking a place of connection, we invite you to discover life at Trinity.
Our worship is centered on knowing God, loving God, and serving God, rooted in the truth and inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, as is characteristic of the Reformed tradition of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. Planning Your First Visit
We can’t wait to welcome you to Trinity Presbyterian Church in Oshawa! We know visiting a new church can bring questions, so we’ve put together some helpful information to make your first experience smooth and comfortable.
When to Join Us
Our main Worship Service begins Sundays at 10:30 AM. But if you’d like to get involved a little earlier, you’re more than welcome!
- Our Choir practices at 9:30 AM – feel free to join in!
- A dedicated Prayer Group meets around 10:10 AM for confidential prayer requests. All are welcome to participate in both of these before the service.
Finding Your Way & Parking
Trinity Presbyterian Church is located at 333 Rossland Road West. Our parking lot is easily accessible from both Rossland Road and Park Road.
- The front entrance, facing Rossland Road, is our most accessible entrance for anyone using walkers or wheelchairs.
- The backdoor entrance is also commonly used by many of our members.
- You’ll notice some parking spots marked with handicapped symbols. Please know that you do not need a special permit to use these; they are simply there for everyone’s convenience.
Our Worship Experience
Our services offer a blend of mostly traditional worship with some contemporary elements, creating a familiar yet refreshing atmosphere.
- When you arrive, a friendly usher or duty elder will greet you and provide a bulletin with the order of service, scripture readings, and announcements.
- We use hymnals and also print song lyrics directly in our bulletins, so you can easily follow along – there are no screens or projectors.
For Families with Children
We love having children in our worship! During the second half of the service, elementary-aged children are invited to attend Sunday School, where they can learn and grow in faith in an engaging environment tailored for them.
